Our History

In 2004, Mark Johns opened a physiotherapy and sports injury clinic upstairs in the Village Shopping Centre, Golden Grove. Later that year, Matt Fallon joined the team and the clinic was on its way.

There have been many changes since then. The Village has become The Grove and this little clinic has grown from strength to strength, adding new team members and more great services all the time.

We have also been recognised for the quality and safety of our service with accreditation from Quality Innovation Performance (QIP). This accreditation gives our clients even more assurance that they’re in safe hands with Village Physio.

We are very proud to be a vital part of the Golden Grove community. Many of the Village Physio team still live locally and the business sponsors local sporting groups and clubs.

In 2022, Mark retired from clinical treatment and handed the reins over to Matt and the team. It’s a new era for Village Physio, but with the same commitment to providing high quality treatment for pain and injury recovery to every member of the Golden Grove community.

Under New Management

Founder of Village Physiotherapy, Mark Johns, has now retired from clinical treatment. He has passed the clinic on to long-time colleague Matt Fallon who, with the rest of the Village Physio team, will continue to support the Golden Grove community.
