Relaxation Massage is a nurturing, therapeutic massage to relax and soothe tired or aching muscles. Many of life’s stresses build up and our muscles stay tense, unable to let go. The systematic kneading and stroking of this massage will leave you feeling relaxed, calm and balanced.
Sports Massage is a firm massage that incorporates transverse friction and pressure point techniques to increase circulation of blood through the muscles. This massage is ideal for any sports person pre/post any sports events, reducing risks of injury and aiding recovery after exertion.
Remedial Massage is used to break down any adhesions or fibrous knots (caused by injury) which can restrict movement and function of the muscle. Techniques include Trigger Point and Myofascial Therapy which work to assist and increase the body’s recovery time.
Lymphatic Drainage is a light massage used to assist the body’s lymphatic system to drain fluid and toxins. This treatment may assist people who suffer from lymphoedema, where the body is unable to clear lymphatic fluid on its own.
Myofascial Therapy is a gentle and effective method of freeing adhesions of muscle (myo) and its covering (fascia). This treatment is beneficial post injury or trauma to aid recovery and increase muscle health and movement.
Trigger Point Therapy is a pressure point treatment to release and break down adhesions or fibrous knots caused by injury which restrict muscle function. This treatment is usually incorporated in the sports massage and remedial therapies, but can be a treatment without massage.
Aromatherapy is the art of using essential oils coupled with a relaxing massage to achieve balance within the body. Choose from a selection of pre-prepared oils to suit your needs.
